Acne (Mild Pimples)

  • Small, non-inflamed whiteheads or blackhead bumps on the skin
  • Small red bumps or pimples with pus that are slightly inflamed, often with a white center
  • A limited number of lesions that are typically fewer than 30 bumps, with only some appearing red or inflamed

Allergic Rhinitis

  • Frequent sneezing, sometimes uncontrollable sneezing episodes
  • A stuffy or excessively runny nose
  • Iching in the nose, eyes, or throat
  • Symptoms typically continue for more than 7 days

Aphthous Ulcers (canker sores)

  • White or cream-coloured painful ulcers that are round or oval.
  • The ulcers typically have a distinct, raised red border.
  • Ulcers commonly appear inside the cheeks, on the lips, sides of the tongue, and on the roof or floor of the mouth.
  • Generally, each ulcer is less than 1cm in diameter.

Candidal stomatitis (oral thrush)

  • White or creamy-white patches visible on the lips, inside the mouth, tongue, or roof of the mouth
  • Cottage cheese-like patches may look thick, soft, or textured
  • Patches can often be scraped off, which may reveal a red, sensitive area underneath
  • Other possible symptoms are dry mouth or a reduced sense of taste.

Conjunctivitis (bacterial, allergic, or viral) Pink Eye

  • Redness in one or both eyes
  • Difficulty opening the eyes after waking, often caused by discharge
  • Sticky or watery discharge from the eye
  • Mild scratching, itching, or burning sensation
  • Light may feel uncomfortable or painful

Dermatitis (atopic, eczema, allergic, and contact) Rashes

  • Ongoing dryness, redness, and irritation
  • Cracked skin or blisters that may sometimes ooze
  • Patches may appear darker or lighter than the surrounding skin
  • Skin may look patchy, rough, or irritated

Diaper Dermatitis (Diaper Rash)

  • Rash and redness in the diaper area, lasting more than 3 days
  • Pain or discomfort, especially during urination, diaper changes, or bowel movements
  • Changes in sleep patterns and difficulty sleeping due to irritation or discomfort

Dysmenorrhea (Menstrual Cramps)

  • Pain or cramping in the lower abdomen
  • Lower back pain often starts a few hours before menstruation begins
  • Pain may last for a few hours or continue for several days

Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) Heartburn

  • Frequent burping or acid reflux with a sensation of stomach acid rising into the mouth
  • Burning feeling in the stomach or lower chest, which sometimes moves up toward the neck
  • Trouble sleeping and discomfort from heartburn may make it hard to rest
  • Pain or discomfort in the upper-middle stomach area
  • Nausea, especially after eating

Hemorrhoids

  • Itching, burning, or swelling in the anal/rectal area that may or may not be painful
  • Bleeding during or after bowel movements
  • Constipation or difficulty with bowel movements
  • A noticeable lump in the anal/rectal area

Herpes labialis (cold sores)

  • Rash or small bumps along the edge of the lips
  • Clear, sticky fluid around the affected area
  • Itching, tingling, or burning, often before the rash appears
  • Redness or inflamed skin surrounding the rash

Impetigo

  • Bumps that turn into blisters, often surrounded by a rash
  • Yellow discharge that dries into a "golden" or "honey-coloured" crust
  • Commonly appears on the face, arms, or legs

Insect bites and urticaria (hives)

  • Small bumps or blisters, often with pain, itching, redness, or swelling
  • Sharp, burning pain that may feel like a stinging sensation

Tick bites, post-exposure prophylaxis to prevent Lyme disease

  • A bite, often from a black-legged tick
  • A red bump at the bite site that may also develop swelling, blistering, bruising, itching, or signs of infection
  • Mild allergic reaction, such as hives, a rash, or slight swelling around the area.

Musculoskeletal Sprains & Strains (Joint and Muscle Pain)

  • Mild to moderate pain, swelling, or tenderness in the affected area
  • Redness or bruising around the injury
  • Limited movement or muscle weakness
  • Often caused by overuse or a direct injury to a muscle or joint

Nausea and vomiting of pregnancy (Morning sickness)

  • Nausea or vomiting can occur at any time of day during pregnancy
  • Difficulty keeping food or fluids down, lasting more than 12 hours

Pinworms & Threadworms (Parasitic worms)

  • Visible worms in the stool or around the anus
  • Anal itching, often worse at night
  • Sleep disturbance caused by discomfort or itching
  • Vaginal itching if worms spread to the vaginal area
  • Irritability or trouble concentrating
  • On-and-off abdominal pain

Urinary Tract Infections (UTI) Uncomplicated

  • Frequent urge to urinate, often with pain or discomfort
  • Burning or pain during urination
  • Lower abdominal aching or discomfort
  • A small amount of blood in the urine
  • No vaginal discharge present
  • Cloudy or foul-smelling urine

Vulvovaginal candidiasis (yeast infection)

  • Thick, white discharge, often odor-free and similar in appearance to cottage cheese
  • Itching or burning in the vaginal area
  • Discomfort or pain during urination or sexual intercourse
  • Rash or redness around the vaginal area, which may indicate irritation
